(moved back 1 week to Sept 4th)--Country Swing Feature where a few basics of Country Swing will be taught along with a spotlight move for the night. No partner or experience required...usually starts around 8 in the middle of the line dance lessons.
--THEME NIGHT: "White Out & Lies Out"
Wear all white and then pin a card with 1 truth and 1 lie on it. (Cards and pins will be available at the lessons)

Grab a friend (or come out and make a friend) and get ready to have a fun night learning NEW and CLASSIC line dances taught by Professional Line Dance Instructor, Taren Wilhelm, with Boots On the Beach Dancing. Get patriotic in honor of Memoria Day and come dressed in theme!

Lessons are geared toward beginner, improver, and intermediate level dances (with occasional advanced dances by request) for anyone to enjoy dancing and have a good time whether it’s your first time or your 1,000th time line-dancing. Dances will be demonstrated and then the choreography will be broken down into easy to follow, step-by-step instruction from 7-9pm followed by social dancing with music from DJ Trevor until closing.

General lesson format:
-Warm-up beginner line dance
-Beginner Line Dance (1-2 dances)
-Social Dancing (Line and Partner)
-***Open slot: Improver/Intermediate/Advanced/Partner Dance Instruction...the open slot will change each lesson.

-If time permits: additional beginner dance, currently popular dance on the dance circuit, or guest/theme feature
-If time permits: Review or previously taught dance(s)

No experience necessary and open to everyone 18+. Lessons take place upstairs every Thursday unless there is a concert scheduled for upstairs.

Drawings for door prizes will be done throughout the lessons AND award(s) for best dressed intheme. So share the event with a friend and be ready to have a fun night of music and dancing! See you on the dance floor! 💃🏼 🕺 🪩 🤠
