Workshop Description:
Join us for a transformative workshop designed specifically for Balkan women and their friends/partners, titled "What Will People Say: How to Get Rid of Generational Limitations?" This engaging and insightful session aims to help you break free from the cultural and generational constraints that have been holding you back.
In this workshop, we will:
* Explore Generational Trauma: Understand the deep-seated fears and anxieties passed down through generations, and how they manifest in your daily life.
* Cultural Stigma: Discuss the pervasive cultural stigma around mental health and healing within the Balkan community, and how it affects your emotional well-being.
* Somatic Healing Techniques: Learn practical somatic healing methods to release the physical and emotional burdens of generational trauma. Through guided exercises, you will experience firsthand how to reconnect with your body and find inner peace.
* Empowerment and Resilience: Discover ways to empower yourself and build resilience against the limiting beliefs and societal expectations that have shaped your life.
* Supportive Community: Connect with other women who share similar experiences and create a supportive network that fosters healing and growth.
This workshop offers a safe and nurturing environment where you can openly explore your emotions and experiences. Together, we will uncover the strength within you to overcome generational limitations and pave the way for a healthier, more fulfilling future. Join us and take the first step towards healing and liberation.

About Selma
Hi, I am Selma a Bosnian mama and a psychotherapist who helps women heal generational wounds through ancestral roots, sisterhood and empowerment. Follow me for more - we need each other.
As children, it’s not our job to create safe relationships; that’s the role of the adults around us. You did what you had to do to survive in the environment you were given. Your actions were not about being bad or wrong; they were about trying to stay safe in a world that felt harsh and demanding.
You are seen, and your experiences are valid. It’s important to understand that feeling scared or hiding parts of yourself as a child was a natural response to your situation. You were simply trying to protect yourself in the best way you knew how. This survival mode was your way of coping with the challenges and pressures you faced growing up. It’s not a reflection of your worth or character, but a testament to your resilience and strength.
Remember, dear sister, you are not alone. Many of us have walked this path and share similar stories.
There is a community of women who understand and support you here @balkansisterhoodcommunity . As you continue your healing journey, know that you are worthy of love, acceptance, and safety. Embrace your journey with compassion for yourself, knowing that you are brave and deserving of healing and happiness.
