Ames Choral Society wishes you the merriest of holiday seasons by inviting you to attend our winter concert. Featuring music spanning 500 years, the concert celebrates the heritage and longevity of choral music. Old English "Now may we singen," hymn "Jesus Christ the Apple Tree," and Christmas favorite "Carol of the Drum" celebrate the past, while jazzy "Merry Christmas" arranged by Ryan O'Connell, "We Wish You the Merriest!" by Les Brown, and John Rutter's "Christmas Lullaby" are newer additions to our festive library. The audience will be invited to sing along with favorite holiday tunes and come to a reception following the concert.
