About the book "" (Lenos, 2020):

Three brave women, three new beginnings: Werner Rohner's second novel focuses exclusively on love stories that are as beautiful, sad, and diverse as in real life. Sixty-one year-old Edith, who has waitressed in the same Café for decades, emigrates to Marocco with her substantially younger boyfriend. Vera falls in love with a woman and begins a passionate affair with her, although she is looking forward to welcoming her first child with her husband. Lena, wife and mother, travels hastily to Neapel with an old flame, and when her best friend shows up to compel her to come home, she moves in with him and her children. Full of empathy and excitement, Werner Rohner tells tales of longing, desire, departure and loss.
