"To Bind Up the Nation's Wounds," President Abraham Lincoln's Promise for a "Just and Lasting Peace," and the Tragedy of his Assassination will be presented by Bryce Stenzel, Lincoln historian and costumed historical interpreter. Stenzel will examine Lincoln’s Second Inaugural Address, his Reconstruction plan, the surrender of the Confederacy and the tragedy of Lincoln’s assassination.Admission is free. Donations will be accepted with proceeds donated to the Friends of the Boy in Blue Civil War Memorial veterans headstone project.
