πDowntown Denver - Historic Five Points
Featuring Judith Strathearn, Senior Lecturer at Metropolitan State University of Denver in Gender, Women's & Sexualities Studies and Africana Studies. Her expertise spans Black feminism, African American literature, and Gullah Geechee studies and she's a local trailblazer. She teaches the only experiential Gullah course in the Rocky Mountain region, where she takes students to the historical Sea Islands of South Carolina and Georgia.
