About this Event
In 2019, Planned Parenthood Great Northwest, Hawai'i, Alaska, Indiana, Kentucky challenged an Alaska statute that limited who could provide abortion care in the state (the advanced practice clinician ban or APC ban). Dr. Johnson served as an expert witness on the case, providing insight on the impact of the APC ban on survivors of intimate partner violence (IPV), particularly in rural Alaska.
Come learn about the relationship between IPV and abortion access through Dr. Johnson's review of her testimony in this case.
