from Rona:
I've always been a painter in my heart, but only recently turned my dream into reality. Secretly in my heart. I have always wanted to paint. I can remember thinking about it in my young teens, but was too afraid to try. This past year, my husband told me he had to leave for a couple of days on business. I decided to take a chance and purchase supplies. I was lucky, and took it as a good sign, than an art teacher was in the same aisle and helped me pick a few starter paints and brushes. She was very kind and I'm very grateful. When my husband left the next morning at 5:30 am, I jumped out of bed, ran down and got everything out of my car, and painted for 2 days. I was ecstatic! I was lost in time never to return. I've enjoyed every minute of my painting time since.
My Medium:
Working with acrylic is my medium of choice but in different ways. Dabbling in watercolor is fun and mixing the two is even better. I enjoy a variety of brushes, spatula... even string, tinfoil, saran wrap, etc. Just about anything that looks fun! I love exploring different options and there will be many more to come, which I will explain as I go.
