About this Event
Constance Hallinan Lagan presents "The Art of Youthful Aging" on Zoom, Monday, May 12 at 7 p.m.
May is Older Americans Month. Libraries nationwide often offer specific programming designed especially for its older patrons during May. Year round, older patrons are drawn to their community library for a number of reasons from book access at no cost to community engagement (lectures, concerts, trips, recreational activities). This group is often comprised of individuals who can be depended upon to show up for the library budget vote and who support their local library in a variety of additional ways, such as volunteering and joining Friends of the Library. Older Americans Month in May is a perfect time to express appreciation for older patrons.
The webinar THE ART OF YOUTHFUL AGING is a timely offering. It is an infusion of positivity and possibility, a/k/a hope, into the lives of those who are experiencing limitations as they age.
This program is sponsored by The Friends of the Englewood Library.
