On the eve of Halloween, the small town of Sackville was alive with anticipation. The moon hung low, casting a silvery glow over cobwebbed porches and flickering jack-o'-lanterns. At the heart of the town stood a decrepit old mansion, rumoured to belong to Seraphina, the reclusive witch with an affinity for alchemy.
As night fell, townsfolk gathered for the annual Harvest Dance, unaware that Seraphina had a spell up her sleeve. Clad in layers of velvet and lace, she stirred her bubbling cauldron, infusing it with petals from the midnight bloom and crushed stardust. She knew tonight would be different. This year, everyone would experience the magic of becoming whatever they desired, if only for a night.
As the clock struck eight, Seraphina appeared at the edge of the dance, her presence drawing gasps. With a flick of her wrist, she called forth her spell. “With the rhythm of your heart and the beat of the ground, let your spirits rise, let new forms be found!”
The music swelled, and with it, a shimmering mist enveloped the dancers. One by one, they transformed: a reserved artist became a fierce dragon, her scales glinting under the moonlight; a grumpy computer programmer turned into a sprightly fairy, twinkling with laughter; and a timid child found herself as a brave knight, sword raised high.
As they danced, the town swirled in a kaleidoscope of colours and forms. The cauldron’s magic spun their wildest dreams into reality, but with each twirl, the true essence of their desires revealed itself. The dragon learned to roar with confidence, the fairy discovered the joy of freedom, and the knight felt the strength of bravery coursing through her veins.
But as the night wore on, the enchantment began to wane. Seraphina watched with a knowing smile, sensing that the magic had done its work. The dancers, once consumed by their transformations, began to understand the true power of being themselves.
In a moment of reflection, the dragon landed gracefully beside Seraphina, scales shimmering softly. “I was always afraid,” she said, her voice a gentle rumble. “But tonight, I learned that strength comes from within.”
As the clock struck midnight, the spell lifted, and the townsfolk returned to their original forms, but something had changed. They carried with them the lessons of the night: the reserved artist now spoke with conviction, the grumpy computer programmer shared laughter, and the timid child felt a flicker of bravery in her heart.
Seraphina, satisfied, smiled at her cauldron, knowing that her alchemical brew of dance had transformed not just bodies, but souls. The magic of Halloween would linger in Sackville long after the night had passed, a reminder that sometimes, to truly become ourselves, we just need to dance. 🎃✨

MEET OUR MUSICAL WIZARD CHRISTIAN ZERO 🧙♂️✨
Christian Zero’s experience working with a range of music genres since 1999, has led to his signature style of multi-genre “intuitive dance” journeys. This working experience includes: The launch party for HBO Canada; The Heineken fashion show in Montreal; Launch of the National Geographic Channel; Kajama Full-Moon Cruise for alienInFlux; Cherry Beach for Promise; Studio Parties for Platform Entertainment; Nuit Blanche for The Drake Hotel; Bring the Heat 3 for Yad Productions; Soulshine Festival; Chocolate Groove‘s Equinox & Solstice Specials; Church of Dance; Sonic Springs Festival; Electric Island, CODA Nightclub, and Vertigo Toronto.
When Christian isn’t DJing, he’s Co-Founder at Symbio ~ Resort for Holistic Wellness and the Arts, an embodied commUnity, dedicated to cultivating intuition and supporting personal evolution. Christian combines decades of experience as a VJ with his experience as a DJ to facilitate immersive multi-sensory experiences called VortexVoyages, first debuted at DREAMjunction.
“I prefer to call it ‘intuitive dance’, as I think a reverence for intuition can take the body and soul where it needs to go. If ‘ecstasy’ is where you end up going, great! Whatever the words we might use to try to describe these experiences, intuition is certainly a quality I hope my work and play with music empowers.”

Dare to enter the decrepit old mansion, pass the gate keeper and settle in. Hugs and enchantment upon arrival. Slip off your shoes and make some room for yourself on the foggy floor.
8:00pm - 8:30pm | Opening Circle + Warm-Up
Warm-up with dancing, prancing, games + breath, creating a safe space for your Spirit to rise. Seraphina will cast her spell for the night.
8:30pm - 10:20pm | 2-hour Ecstatic Dance Journey
Dance to a curated playlist with musical wizard Christian Zero. Step into sensual non-sense and the known unknown. Allow the music to guide your transformation.
10:20pm - 10:30pm | Sound Bath
As the spell slowly dissipates, notice the inner shift. Let yourself sink sweetly into the true power of who you are.
10:30pm - Midnight | Harvest Meal + Social Time
Gather in small groups to share experiences, express gratitude for the shared journey and the community created. Nourish your bodies with a healthy harvest soup, corn and sweet treats. Stay and bond in the Spirit of community.
Midnight | Departure
The alchemical brew of the dance is sealed in your hearts forever and so the night is complete. Sweet dreams.
