Blackheart's Speedpainting Event is back!Test your skills in our two-hour painting showdown! With a secret theme on the night unleash your creativity, and race against the clock to bring it to life. When time’s up, your peers will judge the results.
The event is highly casual and we welcome anyone & everyone that likes to paint minis; or even first-timers! A great way to meet other hobbyists, learn techniques on the fly & generally to sit down and get some paint on something that doesn't have to be perfect
--- Event Specifics ---
+ Each participant with receive with their ticket a Nolzur's Paint Night Kit.
+ All kits contain the same pre-primed miniature (TBA), the same set of paints and a brush.
+ A surprise theme will be given to the group and everyone will have 10 minutes of thinking/preparation alone time with their mini & paints.
+ The timer will start and the 2 hours will begin!
+ Milestone timings will be given along the way. 15 minutes & 5 minutes before the end will be given and then it's "brushes down"!
+ All minis will be voted on by those in the event and judged on :
- Theming (How well is the theme recognisable)
- Originality (How unique was interpretation)
- Brushwork (How tidy/well executed is the paint application)
- Techniques (How many different/difficult were attempted)
- Impression (How striking is the overall composition)
+ Prizing will be given on the night!
