Join us for a free screening of “Space, Hope, and Charity,” an award-winning independent documentary film about the life of NASA astrophysicist Charity Woodrum. Charity was raised in poverty and was the first in her family to graduate from high school. After getting married and starting a family, she decided to go to college to study physics. Life felt perfect. Then, after what she calls "The Worst Day,” her world was destroyed.
All will leave inspired after hearing this true story about reaching for the stars and community support after tragedy and loss.
This is free and open to all. Happening here at Puyallup UMC on Saturday, January 24th, from 1-3:30 PM.
Visit www.puyallupumc.org/events to watch the trailer online.
