Some of you may recall last season's tribute, Dear Donny, which celebrated the life and legacy of the late, great Donny Hathaway. This powerful performance was brought to life under the expert direction of Musical Director and drummer Phil Thomas. Now, Phil returns with another remarkable production, Songs that Speak.
This new show will once again showcase an incredible ensemble cast, bringing together some of Baltimore's finest vocal talents across Gospel, Soul, and Neo-Soul. With a lineup of artists who are known for their powerful voices and emotional depth, 'Songs that Speak' promises to be an evening filled with heartfelt performances and soulful melodies. The show will honor the rich musical traditions that have shaped these genres, offering a moving and memorable experience for all who attend.
