Join us on Friday, July 19th to Sunday July 21st for a fun “Sew Special” weekend retreat at The Doubleday Inn in Gettysburg with expert sewing enthusiast Anna Griesacker! We’ll get things kicked off with a meet and greet pizza party on Friday evening. After breakfast on Saturday morning, we’ll spend the day completing three quick and fun projects. The sewing projects are easy enough for beginners and still fun for those who have more experience. Saturday's dinner and a little sightseeing will be on your own, or with a new group of friends.
Your price includes two nights at our B&B right on the Battlefield; breakfast on Saturday & Sunday; a light lunch on Saturday; a pizza party on Friday evening; sewing instructions & guidance provided by a qualified sewing educator and kits for all the projects. There will be several color and print patterns to choose from. Call your best sewing friend and get a discount if you share a room. Pack your bags, your sewing machines, a few basic supplies, and we’ll take care of the rest. Register soon, spaces are limited, and you don’t want to miss out!
The cost for participants will be:
• $100 per person for Sewing Event which includes the class kits with sewing material for 3 projects and instructor fee.
• PLUS one of the following:
$225 per person with double occupancy. Perfect package deal for you and a friend to share a room.
$325 for single occupancy.
In addition, the Doubleday Inn will provide:
• Two nights’ accommodations – Friday and Saturday
• Two breakfasts – Saturday and Sunday at 8:30am
• A meet and greet pizza party – Friday
• A light sandwich lunch - Saturday
• Coffee, tea and refreshments throughout the day with afternoon snacks
• Space & tables for sewing, extension cords/surge protectors, ironing board & iron

• Check in time is 3:00pm on Friday, July 19th, 2024
• Check out time is 10:00am on Sunday, July 21st, 2024
• No refunds or cancellations allowed after reservation has been made.
Requirements:
• Room reservation must be paid in full in advance.
• Class fee will be paid in person at the time of check in.
• Must bring a sewing machine.
