An exceptional new exhibition with paintings by Anna Galea and poems by Joe FriggieriAnna Galea is a household name in Malta, and for sure in Marsaskala, where she still has a home and her painting studio. She is known mainly for her large watercolour paintings, but for this exhibition she has created new extraordinary works of art, paired with poems by the well-known Maltese author and poet, Joe Friggieri.
Anna Galea is a very accomplished, and internationally highly regarded watercolour artist who has been part of the Maltese art scene for many years. I am particularly proud and really thrilled to show some of her latest, more abstract work.
What makes the evening even more exciting is the fact that for each painting, the well-known Maltese author and poet Joe Friggieri created appropriate poems especially for this new exhibition.
