The first episode of our "Rooting For Everybody Black" series is here, and we’re taking you on a special Wine & Dine Tour down 95 South to explore some amazing black-owned businesses in Petersburg, VA. Get ready to eat, drink, and experience some incredible new spots! 🖤
All the businesses we’ll be visiting are just under 2 years old, so we’re excited to support their growth and sustainability. Here’s the full itinerary for our tour:
Pickup - Hardywood 10:45-11:00 LOAD (pull off at 11am no exceptions)
FIRST UP: ✨ @soshelbrunch from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Enjoy a delicious brunch to start the day with mouth-watering options at this local favorite. Riders will purchase their own food, however - 1 round of drinks will be provided
✨ @Resist Indie Bookstore from 1:15 PM – 2:00 PM
Not only does this bookstore sell books, but it’s a community hub, hosting events like candle-making workshops and author talks. On this stop, you’ll hear from the owners about their personal journeys into entrepreneurship. You can even grab a book to take home and check out their event calendar!

Savor a wine tasting at this local gem in Petersburg – the tasting is INCLUDED in your purchase, so sip away and enjoy the vibe.

Choose to stick around and finish off the day where we picked up. Hardywood is hosting a one of a kind pop-up event, celebrating black art and culture in a way only @theartseen_ can. Purchase art, listen to some live music, and enjoy local black talent.
