Free admission event.Reproduction - the name taken from a Human League album - is a celebration of 80s synthpop and new wave.
The idea is to reproduce the sounds and vibe of New Romantic clubs like Blitz and the fabled Roxy Room at Pips in Manchester, centering on the futuristic sounds of synth pioneers like Kraftwerk and Gary Numan and those who moulded them into perfect pop like Soft Cell and Human League.
We're open to incorporating the new wave classics that were contemporaneous with the era, so cue Adam & The Ants, Duran Duran and Spandau Ballet as well as the US contingent headed by Talking Heads, B52s and Blondie.
