The Sunday Serenades at St Andrew’s series commences on 30 March with Ready To Fly – a celebration of vocal and instrumental music. Featuring some of the exceptional talent spreading their wings both here and abroad, we have the remarkable Sam Mataele from Sacred Heart College – who possesses a rare, beautiful and true counter-tenor voice, dazzling young violinist Ryan Qiao, who was a clear winner in the Intermediate section of the CVMFT scholarships, and the popular and wonderful cellist, Josh Helm, who will shortly be leaving to play and work in London. A programme of Bach, Cassadò, Mendelssohn, Handel, Rodgers and Hammerstein and more.
All concerts are 1.30pm - 2.40pm in Clevedon Presbyterian (St Andrew’s) followed by a complimentary light afternoon tea. Suggested entrance/exit donation $5-10. All welcome!
