About this Event
In anticipation of a future redesign of Tom McCall Waterfront Park, architecture students from the University of Oregon and PSU offer bold visions of how downtown Portland could one day meet the Willamette River. Come see their novel ideas and impressive large-format urban models (up to 18 feet long)!
Alongside these explorations, the Portland Bureau of Planning and Sustainability and landscape architects Mayer-Reed will showcase their recently completed Central City Waterfront Urban Design Study. Learn more about the variety of challenges and opportunities facing the central city as it seeks to redevelop and reconnect to its waterfront.
Join us at Design Portland to engage this civic effort and discover a wide range of possibilities our city could realize.
