"Produce Pete" Napolitano to sign his book at Stew Leonard's in Yonkers

YONKERS, NY (August 28, 2024) – Farm fresh food grocer Stew Leonard’s will welcome longtime friend, renowned fruit and vegetable expert, author, and TV personality Pete Napolitano to their Yonkers store on Saturday, September 28 from 9 a.m. – Noon.

Alongside co-author Susan Bloom, Napolitano will sign copies of his new memoir, They Call Me Produce Pete, in which he shares candid memories of growing up poor in post-WWII America, striving to achieve the American Dream, and landing unexpected fame as one of the nation's leading experts on produce. With over 70 years of experience in the produce industry, "Produce Pete" Napolitano has appeared on a highly popular segment on NBC's Weekend Today in New York broadcast every Saturday morning for 30 years. They Call Me Produce Pete is the long-awaited follow-up to his first book, Produce Pete's Farmacopeia.
