"Pretty in Pink" Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon

The Black Butterfly Foundation is joining forces with the ladies of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. - Upsilon Zeta Zeta Chapter and A Life's Journey, LLC to raise awareness of Breast Cancer.

We are proud to participate in National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and invite you to join us as we increase awareness, inspire HOPE in those who are affected by breast cancer and help to save lives.

Diagnostic Imaging Centers, P.A. will be onsite with the 3D Mammography Coach from 2:30-4:30 pm.

Location: The bus will be parked on the side of the venue.

Important Information:

• Women 40 years and older do not need a doctor’s order for screening (non-symptomatic) mammograms.
• Women 35-39 years old may obtain a baseline screening mammogram. They should check with their insurance provider prior to the screening for plan eligibility and coverage.
• Patients should not be pregnant or breastfeeding.
• You will need your insurance card and the name of your primary care physician.
• If your insurance does not cover your exam, you can pay by credit or debit card at the time of service (we do not accept checks or cash on the coach). Diagnostic Imaging Centers offers a 25% discount to all patients paying out-of-pocket for their exams. Self-pay expenses for a screening mammogram are the following:

1. 3D screening mammogram with 25% self-pay discount $210.38
2. 2D screening mammogram with 25% self-pay discount $165.00

On the day of your mammogram, please wear a two-piece outfit so you don’t have to fully disrobe and avoid lotions, deodorants, and powders above the waist.

To save time at your appointment, you may complete the Breast Imaging Forms prior to your arrival. Just print, fill it out, and bring with you. You can also fill out the forms on the Diagnostic Imaging Centers mobile app by searching “Diagnostic Imaging” in your Apple or Android app store.
