Join the Mathis House Innkeeper for a "Pink Etiquette Tea Party" that is a consists of a five course Victorian Afternoon Tea with soup, salad, scones with clotted cream and lemon curd, with a variety of tea sandwiches, and a gourmet plate of bite sized desserts with a full pot of tea per person. The service will include the Mathis House's antique collection of pink and rose tea pots and pink depression glass. We are bringing out our floral vintage table clothes and our best silver service ware. The Innkeeper will be dressed in a Victorian 1800's outfit and give a demonstration on proper tea etiquette along with the history of the Mathis House.
The tea service will be indoors and outdoors on the wrap around porch if weather permits. This is a pre paid reservation for $39 per person and $20 for children 12 and under. Please call 732-818-7580 to make your reservation. Live music and tours of the Inn will be given.
