Write To Be Scene invites you to our teen theatre troupe's spring play, a black history production called "Pinder's Kids"
About this Event

Written about real teens who participated in peaceful protests toward desegregation in 1960s Orlando, performed by real teens present day who are all local to Central Florida. We encourage you to join us this evening to find your own connection points to this story dedicated to the memory of Pastor Nelson Pinder, who fearlessly led his youth ministry of nonviolence focused in radical love toward all races, ages, and faiths. Join us for a night of coming together to meet with "Pinder's Kids."

Doors at 645pm. Show begins at 7pm in the auditorium. Free and open to the public. Suggested donation of $25 may be accepted through cashapp, venmo, or PayPal to writetobescene or paid at the door by cash or card. Please stay for a free talk back Q and A with cast and crew after the show.
