The category is: ICONIC. Filmed in the mid-to-late 1980s, Paris is Burning is a documentary film chronicling the ballroom culture of New York City and the African American, Latinx, gay, and transgender communities involved in it.

This film is a collaborative event with Cincinnati Black Pride. After the film, we invite our audience to join both organizations for a talkback discussion unpacking this iconic film. We also invite our audience and followers to follow and support Cincinnati Black Pride for their week of events beginning Wednesday, June 16.
