A spy OR a playwright OR an assassin OR an actress OR a king?Københavns Shakespeare Kompagni is excited to present the Danish premiere of "OR," by of Liz Duffy Adams,
performing throughout October at The Deer and Rabbits in Copenhagen.
OR, is a fast, witty and modern comedy based on the real story of Aphra Behn (the first female professional playwright in England and King Charles II's mistress)
The play follows Aphra as she returns from her time as a spy and tries to begin her career in the cultural maelstrom of restoration London.
The puritans are out, the king has returned, the plague is in full swing but the theatres are open for business - As are assassins.
Jessica O'Hara-Baker is Aphra Behn, while Nathan Meister and Sarah Dahl Hasselgren take on a variety of other roles, including King Charles II and famed actress Nell Gwynne.
Joseph Sherlock is directing.
