Panel Literature Association is proud to present:
“Narratives of Budapest” – a collection of essays stories and interviews that aims to capture the distinctive and enduring vibe that defines the city.
“Narratives of Budapest” explores the past the present and in some ways the future of Budapest as seen by our remarkable contemporaries: city experts artists writers local historians journalists art curators researchers cultural managers and more.
The long-time inhabitants of the city are those storytellers who altogether create the main story of Budapest as it’s constantly being written.
We're excited to celebrate the release of this unique book!
This is the first time we’re collaborating with Art Department (a place which is also featured in one of the pieces in the collection!) and we are grateful to them for hosting us.
The program of the launch includes:
- introductory words from the organizers
- freshly printed copies of “Narratives of Budapest”
- panel discussion about Budapest (theme and participants will be announced soon!)
- readings from the book
- exhibition of the pop-up art works by Rajk László about Budapest
- informal talks and hanging out.
The event starts at 6.30 pm and will be held in English.
