Join us as Mark Wygoda shares his father’s incredible story of courage and resistance during the Holocaust. Hermann Wygoda, a German-born Polish Jew, survived as a ghetto smuggler in Poland and later became a partisan commander in Italy.
Mark, a second-generation descendant, will discuss his father’s memoir, In the Shadow of the Swastika. This is our annual Walter Sommers Lecture on Holocaust History.
