What: Join retired Purdue entomologist Tom Turpin for an indoor members-only evening presentation exploring the life, work, and legacy of one of Indiana’s most influential naturalists, Gene Stratton-Porter. "Moths of the Limberlost" is a non-fiction nature book by Gene Stratton-Porter, published in 1912, that focuses on the moths found in the Limberlost Swamp in Indiana. It details her observations and studies of various moth species, their life cycles, and her personal experiences studying them. After the presentation attendees will have the opportunity to explore some of the insect life that can be found thriving at Clegg Memorial Garden.When: Saturday, August 23rd (8 PM - 9:30PM)
