Meet the Rescue Horses
Research shows that people experience many physiological benefits while interacting with horses, including lowered blood pressure and heart rate, increased levels of beta-endorphins (neurotransmitters that serve as pain suppressors), decreased stress levels, reduced feelings of anger, hostility, tension, and anxiety, improved social functioning; and increased feelings of empowerment, trust, patience and self-efficacy."
Human & Horse Connection
Horses and Humans are sentient beings. Through synchronicity there is a balance of openness and willingness. We provide a non-judgmental environment, which naturally generates mutual understanding and reciprocal healing.
The Land
The terrain at Pregnant Mare Rescue Pastures is flat dirt with some small bumps and shallow holes. There is some seating available. Please where good shoes and dress appropriately for autumn Central Coast weather.
