Anchorage Assembly Chair Christopher Constant will give an annual progress report on the Assembly’s work over the past year, which included passing legislation to cut red tape and incentivize housing construction, funding a homelessness response strategy through shelter and housing investments, and establishing the Anchorage Child Care and Early Education (ACCEE) Fund, a program to direct marijuana tax revenue to local investments in child care and early education as voters approved in 2023.
