After spending some years cruising warmer waters, Sharkweek returns with a new collection of spaced-out ambient dub tunes.Continuing a love affair with early 90s electronica and late 60s psychedelia, "Lunar Tunes" ranges from bass-heavy dub juggernauts to free-floating ambient, with a thread of playful electronica running through the middle.
Warm layers of synths both modern and ancient envelop the listener and take you on a journey both electronic and organic, as real instrument sounds weave amongst the digital and bass throbs like a reassuring maternal heartbeat.
