“Learning to Swim” is a powerful multi-media one-woman show, written and performed by Nargiz Alizada, that showcases one woman’s search to find her own voice. Breaking free of the societal and cultural constraints of the Soviet Union and navigating love and loss while dealing with the challenges of moving to the United States to build a new life. In her journey of self-discovery, she makes her dreams come true, despite the obstacles that life throws her way.Join us at 4:30 p.m. in Jewett Hall for appetizers, then watch the show in the Farber Forum from 5:15- 6:45 p.m.
