About this Event
Music for All is a national charity which promotes the life-changing benefits of being involved in music. Every year the charity hosts a "Learn to Play Day", aimed at getting new and returning players to pick up instruments and enjoy making music.
Westerly Winds are supporting this national event by hosting a lower brass workshop. The session is aimed at adults who already have basic music reading skills but fancy trying out a lower brass instrument such as trombone, euphonium or tuba.
The interactive and fun session will be hands-on with attendees having the opportunity to borrow an instrument and have a go under the tuition of an experienced brass teacher.
We intend to run one two-hour workshop, but will consider running two one-hour workshops if there is sufficient demand.
The session will be held at the You Foundation in Staple Hill, Bristol.
