We are so thrilled to offer another community medicine making event titled,”La Olla” a farm to table cooking class, meal share and open mic! 🎤We invite you to gather with us for this food as medicine skillshare which will feature a plant + roots based sancocho (stew), Atole beverage, and a cooking demonstration by Chef Roberto Pérez.
We will share historical, cultural and medicinal information on the ingredients used, have a sit down community meal and engage in a variety show open-mic hosted by X!
This special experience is co-created In collaboration with Patchwork Farms, Chicago Safe Soils + Urban Pilón.
$25 exchange, includes, food, atole beverage, class and open mic show. BYOB also ok!
