Pottery Perfection is thrilled to collaborate with River Bend Homestead-Ohio Grown Flowers to present "Joyful Creations": An Evening of Greenery & Glass. This delightful and unique event, taking place on Tuesday, December 2, from 6-8 pm, offers participants the opportunity to craft their own festive faux stained glass ornament and a stunning, fresh evergreen wreath. River Bend Homestead-Ohio Grown Flowers, our event partner, is a small farm in Northwest Ohio specializing in locally and naturally grown fresh cut flowers. They provide CSA bouquet subscriptions, floral arranging and gardening workshops, bouquet bars, and more!The evening begins with guests creating a 6-inch faux stained glass ornament of their choice, with various designs available. Using glass and acrylic markers, they will design their ornaments under the guidance of Pottery Perfection's skilled staff. After completing their ornament, the staff will apply a resin coating to seal it. While the ornaments are curing, participants will learn wreath-making with Becca from River Bend Homestead-Ohio Grown Flowers. Using a wire wreath frame as a base, you'll hand wrap bundles of fresh, sustainably sourced evergreens to complete your wreath. Once finished, bows, ribbons, pinecones, and other dried accents will be available to decorate your wreath, making it ready to display and enjoy throughout the season!
The cost is $75 (non-refundable) per person, which includes both demonstrations and all supplies needed to create a 6-inch faux stained glass ornament and a fresh evergreen wreath. Registration is required by December 1. Guests are welcome to bring food and beverages. Creativity enhancers such as wine are permitted for those 21 and over.
