Overview:An entirely free event for all kids in 5th grade or younger (as of this fall) directed by the Fond du Lac Running Club. The event will take place rain or shine. We encourage participants to wear their Halloween costumes!
There will be no online pre-registration this year. You can register starting at 1:00pm on race day.
Schedule of Events:
1:00 p.m. - Registration Begins
1:35 p.m. - Mascot Race
1:45 p.m. - 1/8 mile Pre-Kindergarten BOYS
1:50 p.m. - 1/8 mile Pre-Kindergarten GIRLS
1:55 p.m. - 1/4 mile Kindergarten BOYS
2:02 p.m. - 1/4 mile Kindergarten GIRLS
2:08 p.m. - 1/3 mile Grades 1 and 2 BOYS
2:14 p.m. - 1/3 mile Grade 1 and 2 GIRLS
2:19 p.m. - 1/2 mile Grades 3, 4 and 5 BOYS
2:24 p.m. - 1/2 mile Grades 3, 4 and 5 GIRLS
All race times are approximate; races may start a few minutes early.
Courses:
All races will be run on grass within the northern portion of Buttermilk Creek Park.
Awards:
All children participating in “It’s Fun to Run” will receive the official t-shirt and a certificate of completion.
Refreshments:
Water will be served to participants and spectators.
