Silent March for Justice
George Floyd stated "I Can't Breathe," nearly 30 times to Minneapolis police officers Derek Chauvin, Thomas Lang, J. Alexander Kueng and Tou Thao.
Derek Chauvin is the first white police officer in the history of Minnesota to be charged and tried in a courtroom for the M**der of a Black man, despite the fact that Black, Native, Indigenous, Hispanic, Latinx and Asian people are disproportionately murdered at higher rates.
405+ Minnesotans have been murdered by Minnesota law enforcement since 2000, including 4 people since the M**der of George Floyd: Dolal Idd was murdered by MPD on 12/30/20 and 3 unidentified people were murdered during the last week in Isanti (Blaine & Anoka police) and Wadena counties (just occurred on 2/27/21).
Join us on Sunday afternoon as we mourn the M**der of George Floyd and All Stolen Lives, and as we continue to demand JUSTICE and substantial changes to policing in Minneapolis, throughout Minnesota, and across the country.
