About this Event
Hana Schmidt’s now infamous “hot take” provoked a huge response from the Pasifika community.
Many of the responses we read to Hana's 'hot take' made us think - what if we could engage in this talaona face-to-face rather than on social media?
KAVAX invite you to fofola ae fala kae talanoa ae kainga (roll out the mat so the people can talk).
Focus Questions
How do we honour our Moanan culture in Aotearoa?
What does humility mean? Is the cultural value of humility something we believe in as members of the Pasifika community living away from our ancestral homelands?
As Tangata Moana living here in Aotearoa, how do we enact the value of tautua (service) to our families and villages?
