, a powerful Portland based six-part docuseries, will screen its first episode and host a candid community conversation with families, advocates and legislative leaders on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 26, 2025 AT ALBERTA ABBEY IN PORTLAND, OR. Doors open at 6PM. Program begins at 7:30PM. Admission is free.
Created by Asianique Savage in partnership with the Alliance for a Safe Oregon and Gal Pal media, this original documentary series amplifies the voices of Black mothers and families in Portland that are fighting for justice after losing loved ones to gun violence. Exploring how deaths caused by gun violence have devastated communities, and how systemic failures have left families with enormous grief and little to no justice. This series shines a light on those advocating for support and change across Portland.
