[English below]Kartu su Universiteto LGBT+ grupe kviečiame pasižiūrėti Amélie Hardy trumpametražį filmą "Hello Stranger" 🎬. Filmas anglų kalba, (su angliškais subtitrais), trukmė - 16 min. Renginys taip pat vyks angliškai.
Susitinkame balandžio 12d., 19 val., 22 bendrà būtis (Vilniaus g. 22.), antrame aukšte.
- Hello Stranger -
Vietinėje skalbykloje, tarp skalbimų, Cooper Josephine dalijasi savo lyties keitimo istorija. Jungdama savo prisiminimus - nuo vaikystės mažame žvejų kaimelyje iki permainingo medicininio proceso - Cooper bando susitaikyti su paskutiniu vyrišku pėdsaku, likusiu jos kūne: įkyriu giliu balsu.
Tradiciškai, po filmo dalinsimės savo įspūdžiais, nuomonėmis ir patirtimis. Tačiau, šįkart diskusiją moderuos Universiteto LGBT+ grupės nariai 🌈
Renginio metu taip pat artimiau susipažinsime su kokiomis problemomis susiduria VU trans studentai, ir sužinosime, kas pagerintų dabartinę situaciją.

Together with the University LGBT+ group we invite you to a screening of Amélie Hardy's short film "Hello Stranger" 🎬 The film is in English with English subtitles, duration 16 min. The event will be in English as well.

- Hello Stranger -
Between loads of laundry at the corner laundromat, Cooper shares the story of her gender reassignment journey. Piecing together her memories, from her childhood in a small fishing village through her tumultuous medical process, Cooper attempts to make peace with the last male imprint remaining on her body: that annoying deep voice that sticks to her skin.
As usual, after the screening we will share our thoughts, opinions and experiences. However, this time the discussion will be moderated by members of the University LGBT+ group 🌈
During the event, we will also take a closer look at the problems that trans students at the Vilnius University face, and find out what would improve the current situation.
