This presentation provides an overview of changes that are expected in age, and factors that may improve brain outcomes in older age.
Dr. Bendlin is Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a scientific investigator at the Wisconsin Alzheimerβs Disease Research Center. Dr. Bendlinβs research group is studying factors that may increase or decrease risk for dementia, including insulin resistance, sleep, exercise, diet, gut microbiome, and socioeconomic disadvantage. She is the director of the Neuroscience and Public Policy graduate training program, and leads several federally funded research studies focused on Alzheimerβs disease
