Interested in learning more about decorated sugar cookies? Cornerstone Creations & Cuisine is here to help! In this 2-hour class, we'll cover the basics to sugar cookies (so – yes, it’s beginner friendly!), do some piping practice with Royal Icing, talk about how to strategize the best ways to decorate sugar cookies, and cover the general concepts around cookies and icing! Everything you'll need is provided at class along with a live, in-person instructor so just bring a smile (and maybe an apron).
In this next installment of Cornerstone cookie decorating classes you will be learn how to decorate this beautiful set of religious-themed Easter cookies! We will be decorating cookies that look like a tomb and the stone for the door, a watercolor cross, a chalice, a crown of thorns, and a palm branch. You'll leave class with a great understanding of the basics of sugar cookies, plus learn a few cool and unique techniques we'll cover in class! (like watercolor!) This class is for the beginner cookier or for the person who is just curious about what cookie decorating is all about so be prepared to have a blast as you learn about decorating sugar cookies! If you have limited experience with sugar cookies, found yourself frustrated with royal icing, or if you're just trying to have fun with small group, family, friends, or your spouse, this is the class for you! We will be decorating this bright and cheery Easter cookie set that tastes amazing and will look even better once you’re finished!
We provide everything you will need from cookies, icing, sprinkles, and a box to take your awesome creations home in - we just need YOU! Each decorator gets 6 cookies, 4 icing colors, sprinkles, and all the tools necessary to help you enjoy your class experience! Everything is prepped before class – so no baking or icing mixing required. Just decorate!
This class is on Saturday, 4/12/25 and starts at 10:00 a.m. sharp, so please arrive by 9:45 a.m. so we can get set up and have enough time to decorate and answer questions along the way. Come by yourself, bring your best friend, or bring the family! It's a blast whether you're coming with a friend, family member, or taking it solo!
This class is good for ages 9+, but if you'd like to leave the kiddos at home, purchase an add-on kit (more on that below)! The kits are great for kids at home to be able to enjoy the fun or for you to spend more time practicing your skills when class is over.
NOTES
*This class is suitable for 9+ and an adult is also REQUIRED to attend with anyone under the age of 16.
*An advanced ticket is required to be purchased for any person present.
*Anyone attending class who is under the age of 18 is REQUIRED to have a parent or supervising adult sign a liability waiver for them.
*If your child is 16+ and you are not attending with them, please come in to sign the waiver BEFORE you leave. If you forget and leave before the waiver is signed, you will need to come back and sign the waiver for them to participate in class.
*Feel free to bring your water bottle to class.
