Start the new year with an invigorating 8-mile circular walk on, beginning in Hay-on-Wye. This scenic route takes us along the peaceful Dulas Brook through a charming valley known as a 'dingle' before ascending into a tranquil forest, home to a striking pine tree—a beloved local landmark adorned by visitors over the years.We’ll continue climbing to reach Cusop Hill, standing 390 meters above Hay, where breathtaking views of the Black Mountains and surrounding valleys await (weather permitting). After a break for a packed lunch in the fresh winter air, we’ll descend through rolling farmland, eventually looping back to Hay-on-Wye.
