Are you a Caregiver who is supporting someone with Alzheimer's, Dementia or Parkinson's Disease? Are you someone with a heart for people, who is looking for a meaningful volunteer opportunity that will support our community? If so, our team is looking for YOU!🌟 Join us on July 17th from 4-6pm at Bethesda UMC (116 East Main St, Middletown) for a special event launching Bethesda's new Respite Ministry "Hands of Hope"! 🤝 Hands of Hope will begin this fall, and will support caregivers of loved ones with Alzheimer's, Dementia, or Parkinson's.
~ Learn more about caregiving resources from the Alzheimer's Association, Easter Seals, and the opportunities that Hands of Hope will offer for caregivers and volunteers. A speaker from the Alzheimer's Association will offer valuable information on the disease beginning at 4:30pm.
~ This event is open to all caregivers and people interested in supporting our community through meaningful volunteer work. (Volunteers under the age of 16 are welcome to volunteer with a parent or guardian present) Let's come together to make a difference!
