"Halftone '25"Annual Collective Photo Exhibition
The Macau-based HALFTONE Photographic Association celebrates its fourth anniversary with the "Halftone Exhibition'25", which features works by twenty-two of its members.
Exhibiting works by multidisciplinary photographers and artists from not only Macau, but also from other regions of the People's Republic of China and Portugal, this exhibition illustrates the vitality of the photographic practice of its participants, within the different regions where they are located and have their practice.
On the other hand, this exhibition also illustrates the diversity of the various aesthetic and thematic approaches that photographic practice allows: documentary, “street photography”, landscape, human, studio, conceptual, among others, highlighting its decisive role in contemporary artistic and visual practice, namely in the Macau SAR.
A HALFTONE Photographic Association, com sede em Macau, celebra o seu quarto aniversário com a presente exposição colectiva de fotografia: “Halftone Exhibition’25”, que acolhe obras de vinte e dois dos seus associados.
Expondo obras de fotógrafos e artistas pluridisciplinares, originários não só de Macau, mas também de outras Regiões da R. P. da China e de Portugal, esta exposição é ilustrativa da vitalidade da prática fotográfica dos seus participantes, nos diferentes contextos territoriais em que se inserem e praticam a fotografia.
A mostra ora patente ilustra, por outro lado, a diversidade das várias abordagens estéticas e temáticas que a prática fotográfica permite: documental, “street photography”, de paisagem, humana, de estúdio, conceptual, entre outras vertentes, demonstrando o seu papel decisivo na prática artística e visual contemporânea, designadamente na RAEM.
