"Gutting the Garden" & Community Clean up w/ Spartanburg Parks & Rec

Event Overview:

Join Spartanurg County's Parks and Recreation Dept. Teen Outreach Program for an opportunity to refresh and restore the existing community garden by pulling weeds, clearing debris, and preparing the beds for upcoming seasonal plantings. Together, we’ll get the space ready for new growth while also participating in a Community Clean-Up Day alongside friends and neighbors. This is a great opportunity to beautify the area, support local families, and enjoy meaningful time giving back to our community.

• Time: 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
• Location: 500 Norris St. Spartanburg, SC 29306
• Please Park near the Basketball Courts

What to Bring:

• Dress for the weather, as we'll be outdoors. Please wear closed-toed shoes and bundle up for cold weather.
• Please bring garden gloves and (labeled) garden tools if you have them. Some tools available onsite.
