🌸 Gurls with Curls: Black Girl Haircare Day 🌸
Calling All Young Queens Ages 12–18!
We’re excited to announce the return of Black Girl Haircare Day — and this year, we’re turning up the energy with a special theme: “Gurls with Curls”!
This empowering event celebrates the beauty, confidence, and culture of young Black and Brown girls through hands-on haircare workshops, styling demos, and a fun mini hair show! Participants will learn healthy hair maintenance, braiding basics, and hygiene practices designed to help them embrace and care for their natural beauty.
💫 What to Expect:
Interactive haircare sessions led by local stylists and mentors
Practice time to learn braiding and protective style techniques
Empowerment talks focused on self-esteem, wellness, and identity
Light food and refreshments provided
A fun and inspiring Hair Show Showcase to end the day!
🎯 Who Can Register:
We’re inviting 75 young women of color, ages 12–18, to take part in this one-of-a-kind cultural and educational experience.
Participants must identify as female and a person of color.
