Richard Jackson is the embodiment of how "you can take the boy out of Grapevine, but you can't take Grapevine out of the boy." Growing up in the small community before the big airport or even the lake, life was different. The pace was slower, everyone knew everyone else, and - especially when your father was the leader of the local Baptist church - living the straight and narrow path was a given.Now 87 years young, Pastor Richard Jackson returns to Grapevine February 24 to share his youthful memories.
The meeting at the Vine Arts Center at 225 W. Worth Street is free and open to the public. It begins with refreshments at 6:30 PM.
