As a special nod to our founder Durham Storytellers are performing a "free" storytelling concert for the community at the Dr. George Blake Parkette's Story Circle (95 Royal St. Oshawa) on Thursday August 15 2023 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Weather permitting.
We will be amusing and entertaining the audience with a variety of stories from many places around the world. Everyone is welcome to attend. This is a family-friendly event. Bring your lawn chairs.
Durham Storytellers was started in September 1990 by our founder Dr. George Blake and a handful of enthusiasts. The membership blossomed to become a forum for storytellers and those interested in storytelling and folklore. We aim to honour our founder by performing this "free" storytelling concert for the public. Come out and join us for an evening of great stories!
