Our guest lecturer Valerie Koselka will get you started with the basics of research using libraries and alternative resources.Valerie has been researching her family history in Michigan and southeast Poland for over forty years. She is a director with the Polish Genealogical Society of Michigan and the West Side Detroit Polish American Historical Society. Valerie is a member of six local genealogical societies and volunteers as a consultant at the Westland Family History Center. She is also an admin with several genealogy groups on Facebook and created the group Polish Culture, Food and Traditions in 2014.
